Creation Order: Plants vs Man

Genesis 1 and 2 give contradictory orders of creation for plants and humans.

Genesis 1:11-27

"Day 3: Earth brings forth vegetation. Day 6: God creates man."

Genesis 2:5-7

"When no bush of the field was yet in the land... then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground."

Analysis

In Genesis 1, plants exist days before humans. In Genesis 2, humans are created specifically because there is no man to work the ground, and plants appear after.
