Who was at the tomb?

The gospels give conflicting accounts of who visited Jesus' tomb on Easter morning.

John 20:1

"Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb..."

Mark 16:1

"When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices..."

Analysis

In John, Mary Magdalene goes alone. In Matthew (28:1), it is Mary Magdalene and "the other Mary". In Mark, it is Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome. In Luke (24:10), it is Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and "the others with them".
